Our Wedding
Well, as you can imagine, our wedding was one of the most photographed in history I believe. Haha. At one point I looked out and 3/4 of the people had their cameras (sometimes 2 per person) trained on Mad and I... pretty weird to be on the opposite side of the lens I've got to say! It was really hard not to make stupid faces the whole day like we are used to doing. Our good friend and photographer Drew Noel did a great job capturing the day for us with our other friend Jim, as we have tons great shots from all angles. A couple of these are also from our friend Nick Evans and Uncle Pete as well! I'll post a few of my favorites, and link Drew's post on his website when he gets it published! Hope you like them as much as we like reliving the day.
a perfect shot by drew to sum up the wedding and reception - as mad themed it 'once in a blue moon' which took place on the 31st of August.
my sister emily helping mad with the dress through her Kodak Brownie (it's the name of the camera, not the snack)

we did a lot of personal touches ourselves, but had to keep it minimal because bringing a wedding with you to fiji isn't a light task! many thanks to my family for lugging extra suitcases and bags around the islands with them :) ...and of course franks red hot made it on all the tables

as a showing of gratitude and love towards their guests, fijians sing a song called "Isa Lei" to everyone. it is one of the most beautiful harmonies, and definitely brought out some late night tears when the reception was over!
and mad and i finishing it off. such a good day!!!
