Freshwater Family Photography - The Gilpin Family

When the Gilpin family reached out to have a family session (we’ve had a few over the years!!) I was stoked! This fun Freshie family loves the beach, so what better spot to have their session than their local.

If you are a beach family and love your beach, I always suggest heading there for your family photography session. Having your favourite spot adds extra levels to the magic of your photos when you look back years down the road.

Thanks to daylight savings we got to catch sunrise a bit later than most of the year, and it did not disappoint! Freshwater Beach is a perfect place for family photography with a relaxed vibe and a variety of backdrops for any family.

We had such a fun time playing and goofing around to get those candid family photos filled with personality, those real moments that tell so much more than just looking at the camera!

After their session we headed back to my studio where they created a beautiful collection for their new home, the 9 piece Glacier collection - another one of my favourites!
