Friends of the Garden

Well, it's been AGES since I've posted something on the blog. That's because Mad and I spent the last month with family and friends getting hitched!!! Then we were a bit greedy and took 2 consecutive honeymoons, staying in Fiji for one and heading to Bali, Indonesia for the second. Needless to say, I have TONS of photos I can't wait to show. But first... we were starting our garden in our new flat at Curl Curl beach, and I found this guy watching us  in an old watering can. Australian Redback Spiders​ are extremely poisonous, coming in at number 3 in Australia. Thankfully they are mostly timid and don't lunge out at you... but still a bit frightening to have in your garden as you're planting the beetroots!!!
