Bali

For a wedding present, Maddie surprised me with a trip to Bali a few short days after we got back from Fiji. Indonesia has been at the top of my bucket list for some time, and while riding our wedding high we made the trek around Bali for 10 days. The country is beautiful, as are the people. It's a frequently traveled track from Australia because it's a quick 6 hour flight from Sydney into a completely different world. Balinese massages for a few dollars, mopeds for cheaper, cuisine for any budget (and you'd be surprised what you can afford), and unparalleled service and luxury if you're willing to dish out a bit more. It was truly a unique place, and an awesome extension of our honeymoon. We got to travel a majority of the time with two of our close friends, which made the trip even more enjoyable. crazy tempered monkeys live at some of the temples, including this little guy ready to pounce at my camera for playtime. also not pictured, is mad getting swiped by an adult monkey wanting her scarf! pretty funny to sit back and watch the monkeys torment the tourists... so long as its not you :)
